Happy New Years Hump Day!
As early as 24,000 BC, statues have had exaggerated buttocks, hips and thighs. They were extremely important to the Greeks, the founders of modern democracy and freedom. They were drawn, written about and emphasized by the Chinese during the Ming Dynasty and people of Africa tens of thousands of years ago. The love of butts is nothing new and a part of the DNA of the human race... and beyond.
In recent years, butts got more complicated. Sometimes they are shown in a purely sexual light by pop stars and the internet. Sometimes they are tabooed and shamed by people and groups that would make us good, little robots.
But butts... have always been the same. Wonderful, soft, warm, jiggly, magnetic and good and good for us. They come in all forms, shapes and sizes. They are the catalyst to strangers forging bonds and the natural and ancient wonder that we can't help but love.
So this year, let's stop letting labels, politics and other forms of BS get in the way. And get back to what's natural and the feeling of butts (and yes, the people or pillows they are attached to too).
Happy Year of the Butt, for the 26,000th year in a row.
Butts for all,
Team Buttress
