Happy Hump Day!
It's been 4 years since the very first Buttress Pillow, the ODB, was sent out to our Kickstarter backers in 2018. It started with an amazing butt, a grand dream, a code of honesty, no complaining and never giving up.
We remember the tough times when our team stayed up for 24 hours of non stop energy drinks and packing butts just to get our pre-orders out on time or when we took a $25,000 dollar loss on our first batch because we didn't want to send out bad butts. We remember the triumphs like when Kevin O'leary complimented our CEO and said that he was just like Mark Cuban when he was younger or when our pillow was featured and praised on major international networks and platforms.
We have had the honor of working with people of all walks of life including celebrities, adult industry stars, prison officials, military officers and artists. Because butt lovers come in all shapes, sizes, genders and are in every occupation.
In the end, we made a great product. And it took time for people to realize that it wasn't just a gag gift, it's possible the most comfortable pillow in the world with the peace and happiness of butts inside.
Today, we can look back and say that anything is possible, the American dream is not dead and if we can create a successful, honest business making pillows in the shape of butts, an idea that drew so much skepticism and doubt, you can do anything.
Forget politically correct, forget staying inside the box or coloring inside the lines. If you have a good reason and a passion, do it. There's nothing to lose and so, SO much to find, experience and gain.
