The Buttress Pillow has always been about more than making a pillow shaped like a butt.
To us, sleeping on a butt means thinking a little differently.
It means choosing comfort over convention.
It means looking at the same rectangular pillow humans have been sleeping on forever and asking:
Why?
Why does a pillow have to be a rectangle?
Why does something comfortable have to look boring?
Why can’t something be ridiculous, functional, beautifully made and genuinely great at the same time?
We’ve never wanted The Buttress Pillow to feel overly sexy or exclusive.
Butts are universal.
Everybody has one.
Everybody understands them.
And, whether we admit it or not, most of us are pretty fond of them.
That’s part of the joke.
But underneath the joke is something we actually believe:
Life is better when you’re comfortable being yourself.
Think freely.
Question the rectangles.
Choose what feels good instead of what everyone tells you is “normal.”
Laugh at dumb things.
Love the things you love.
And if you happen to love butts…
just be honest about it.
That’s what The Buttress Pillow represents to us.
A little rebellion.
A little absurdity.
A lot of comfort.
And absolutely no reason to sleep on a rectangle just because everyone else does.
